1. Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how Khalid8087 ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with Live Earth View Launcher (the "App") and related support. It covers the home screen launcher, maps, Earth views, camera-view content, and travel tools. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to [email protected].

2. Information We Process

  • Device and usage information: the App and integrated service providers may process IP addresses, device and advertising identifiers, device model, operating system, app version, language, network information, app interactions, advertising interactions, and diagnostic or crash information.
  • Location: approximate or precise location, when permission is granted, for location-related features such as map centering, place discovery, compass information, and trip or speed tools. Service providers may also infer a general area from an IP address.
  • Feature inputs: place searches, translation text, selected languages, currency selections, amounts, and other requests submitted to the tools. Online requests may be transmitted to the providers needed to return a result.
  • Camera and voice inputs: images, extracted text, or voice input used when you choose camera or speech translation. Depending on the feature and recognition service, content may be processed on the device or sent to a recognition or translation provider.
  • Launcher information and local settings: installed-app names, icons, and launchable activities used to display and open apps, along with preferences, favorites, tool history, and cached content stored by the App.
  • Support messages: your email address and information you choose to send when contacting us. Please avoid including unnecessary sensitive information.

3. How Information Is Used

Information is used to deliver requested features, display and open apps, remember preferences, return map or translation results, provide support, diagnose failures, protect against abuse, and maintain the App. Advertising and measurement providers may use device identifiers, interactions, and technical information to deliver, measure, and improve ads and detect fraud, subject to applicable consent requirements and available controls.

A device permission authorizes the corresponding device access; it does not by itself constitute consent to every form of advertising or other processing. Where a separate notice or consent is required, it must be provided before that processing occurs.

4. Permissions and Device Controls

  • Location: used by location-related features when allowed. Denying access may limit those features.
  • Camera: supports camera-based translation when selected. Browsing public camera-view content does not require activating your device camera.
  • Microphone: supports speech input when selected.
  • Network access: loads maps, remote content, translations, exchange-rate information, and advertisements.
  • Launcher capabilities: Android provides controls for choosing a default home app. App shortcuts and wallpaper-related functions use the corresponding device capabilities. Requests to uninstall another app, if available, remain subject to Android confirmation.
  • Other declared capabilities: this version declares phone-state and advertising-related permissions. Access depends on Android restrictions, grants, and SDK configuration; these permissions do not provide general access to the contents of your calls or messages.

You can review or revoke permissions in Android Settings. Revoking a permission stops future access through that permission but does not automatically delete information already processed by an online service.

5. Third Parties and Sharing

Information needed for online functionality may be shared with map and location providers, camera-content hosts, translation or speech-recognition services, exchange-rate providers, hosting providers, advertising and measurement partners, and diagnostic or support providers. Their processing can include IP addresses, device information, submitted queries, and feature-specific information.

The App integrates Google-related map and advertising components. See Google Privacy Policy and Google advertising information. Other advertising or content providers may operate under their own notices; an embedded SDK alone does not mean every provider processes data on every use.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to respond to valid legal requests, protect rights and safety, or in a business transfer subject to applicable safeguards and notice. Opening external pages connects you to those services, whose privacy practices apply to their processing.

6. Retention and Deletion

Local preferences, favorites, history, and caches may remain until removed through available App controls, Android's clear-storage option, or uninstalling the App. Device backups may be governed separately by your Android or backup settings. Removing local data does not necessarily delete records held by online providers.

Support information and other information under our control are retained for the purposes for which they were collected and, where necessary, to address unresolved requests, security issues, or legal obligations. Retention varies by data type and purpose; third-party providers apply their own retention practices.

To request access, correction, or deletion of information under our control, email [email protected] with the subject "Privacy request — Live Earth View Launcher". Describe the request and provide only the information needed to locate the relevant records. We may verify the request and will explain any lawful retention exception. Requests will be handled within the time required by applicable law.

7. Your Choices and Rights

You can manage device permissions, change your default launcher, clear local App storage, uninstall the App, and use available Android advertising-ID or ad-privacy settings. Where the App or an advertising provider offers consent controls, you can use them to review or change your choices. Disabling personalized advertising does not necessarily remove advertisements.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a relevant data protection authority. Contact us to exercise applicable rights. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.

8. Security and International Processing

Information may be processed in countries other than your own by the providers involved in delivering a feature. Applicable protections and transfer requirements depend on the service and relevant law. We take reasonable steps appropriate to the information we control to reduce unauthorized access or disclosure; no storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

9. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. Where local law requires a higher age or parental authorization, those requirements apply. If you believe a child has provided personal information inappropriately, contact [email protected] so we can investigate and take appropriate action, including deletion of information under our control where required.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the App or its services change. The updated version will state its revision date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before a material change in processing takes effect. Continued use is not a substitute for consent where consent is required.
